Why Coreo Exists

I spent decades as a healthcare administrator watching the same failure from the inside: care plans that were documented, then broke down in execution. No amount of professional experience prepared me for facing that breakdown personally — when failed communication and follow-through in cancer care affected my own family.

Health systems don’t lack good intentions or clinical expertise. They lack infrastructure that gives a care plan’s next step a clear owner and a visible deadline. Coreo is my attempt to close that gap — not by replacing the people and systems already doing this work, but by giving them visibility they’ve never had.

Founder & CEO

Christie L. Clipper, DHA, brings three decades of experience building, scaling, and transforming regulated healthcare delivery organizations, from launching new care businesses to leading clinical operations at Henry Ford Health and directing strategy, operations, finance, research, and digital transformation at Duke University Medical Center. Her experience spans healthcare operations, innovation, and commercialization, and her peer-reviewed research includes patient-provider communication and the use of AI in oncology.

Coreo is also personal. After witnessing the consequences of communication breakdowns during her mother’s cancer care, Christie experienced the execution gap not only as a healthcare leader, but as a daughter and caregiver. That combination of operating experience, research, and lived experience drives Coreo’s mission to make cancer care more connected, accountable, and reliably executed.

Abigail lives in Orlando, Florida and has been an attorney since 2002. In 2017, while tandem breastfeeding her boys (then 1 and 3), Abigail was diagnosed with de novo Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) and soon thereafter discovered that she has a genetic mutation that predisposed her to developing cancer at ATM. Since her diagnosis, Abigail has focused her efforts on patient advocacy and supporting those people in the MBC Community through her experience and training, virtually and in person.
