Our Motivation

My career spans decades as a healthcare administrator leading a multitude of healthcare delivery systems. I have bared witness to the problem I am solving for time and again. The insight it has afforded me alone did not prepare me for the emotional unrest my life’s greatest lesson would bring when I experienced a devasting, unexpected personal loss amid failed communications in cancer care as a daughter and caregiver.

We focus so much on solving problems we can’t see beyond the limitations it poses to creating a real solution – meeting people’s needs.

This is the catalyst that drives Coreo. I have presented my story in speaking engagements across our nation to be received by healthcare professionals and the general public with heartfelt stories of their own and a plea for the difference Coreo aims to make. I am determined to create this solution to help others avoid the hardship that my family and I have suffered, to give them what they need in a way all system players derive benefit.

I no longer can see others lose their life this way. This mission is a calling for me. It is my purpose – what I now live to do.

Our Mission

Maximize the ONN’s ability to effectively develop, implement and measure a personalized treatment plan that successfully fosters autonomous patients who are empowered and engaged with their ONN throughout their cancer treatment journey.

And, to do so in a way that…

  • allows for broader reach and scalability of the ONN to cost-effectively and efficiently manage communications and care coordination to a larger patient population than can be handled by traditional navigation tools, and

  • breaks down barriers and closes communication gaps across the care continuum to derail the miscommunication that results in poor patient safety, harm, and death.
